This listing is on the 2nd and 3rd level of the first bank (vault still intact) in Old San Juan. 

The 2nd level has 3 separate units (total of 5 bedrooms) that all join to other in a foyer and can also be closed off to have a more private setting. Each unit has their own Kitchen ( or Kitchenette), Bathroom,  Living, Dining and Bedrooms. 

On the 3rd floor you have 4 additional bedrooms, also including bathrooms, kitchen,  dinning room (seats 6) 1500 sqft private to the unit City View deck with grill, couches and sun loungers.

Access

Guests have access to the entire unit other that the maids/owners  closet.

We have a full staff that runs this large historic property, we will do our best effort to provide 5 star service to our guests needs.

Located in historic Old San Juan.

Cancellation Policy

Guests agree to pay a 50% deposit at time of booking.
The remaining 50% of the booking amount is due 30 days prior.

Cancellation policy as follows:
50% of the deposit is refundable up to 10 days prior to check-in.
25% of total reservation cost is refundable up to 7 days prior to check-in.
Reservation is Non-refundable within 7 days of check in date.

Transit

Uber available within a few minutes of making a request. Food, bars, pharmacy and grocery is all within a few blocks of the property.

An early check in/ late check out will always require a $300.00 additional fee each

Local/ On-Island bookings will be approved on a case by case basis

The pricing on this property is set up to accommodate both smaller and larger groups. Please be sure to enter in your correct amount of guests when booking.

The laundry room is in a space considered a common area. Our laundry service will enter to deliver and pick up during your stay. Linens delivery are Tuesdays and Fridays 


MOST ALL OTHER hotels and houses in Old San Juan will require that you to put your toilet paper in a waste bin. If you don’t you will find yourself in serious ____. It’s because they have like 100 year old cast iron sewage pipes that catch everything.
WITH US, you can flush your toilet paper (please be mindful and gentle). We changed all the cast iron with regulation schedule 40 pvc, like we are on the mainland.

HOUSE RULES 
Enjoy your stay, the most important rule!

INFORMATION CHECK IN: 
Check-in time is after 4 pm. 
Check-out time is at 10 am. 
Smoking of any kind inside the house is not allowed. 
NO additional guests or unauthorized visitors are allowed in the house other than those listed in the original reservation. Children COUNT as guests. 

TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELF and US 
- Close/lock up the house when you are not in the property, We are not responsible for you and your personal care in the house. 
- We are not responsible for the safety of any personal item in the house and also from your safety. 
- We are not responsible for accidents in the house or the rooftop and pool. 
- Guests must be polite to staff at all times.

THE NEIGHBORS 
- Loud noise, music or parties are not allowed. 
- Maintain the street clean. 
- No loud Music between the 10 pm and 8 am quiet hours, all guests must not loiter or hang out outside during quiet hours.

TAKE CARE OF THE HOUSE AND THE PLANET 

- Please, report damages immediately 
- Roof and exterior areas of the house are closed during   quiet hours
- Do not leave windows and doors open if the AC is on. 
- Please AC to cool it has to be in snowflake mode. It can't be lower than 70 F or 20 C. If you set it lower than that the Air can condense the house. 
- If you are leaving the house, turn off the lights and AC. Remember that we are on an island and resources are scarce. 
- DO NOT THROW diapers, sanitary napkins or wipes down the toilet. ONLY SMALL AMOUNTS OF TOILET PAPER. Only small amounts of toilet paper down toilets. ABSOLUTELY **NO WIPES** TAMPONS OR ANYTHING other toilet paper. Doing so will result in a $1000 fine. 
-It is a residential neighborhood we have neighbors with day jobs, neighbors with small children and elderly neighbors. quiet hours are from 10pm until 8am, so no loud voices or music can be played outside during these times. (We are a few blocks down from “La Placita” nightlife district so you can party there!)
-noise violations 1 warning and then the fee is $100 per occurrence
- $5000 remediation fee if cigarettes are smoked in the house. 
~Leaving doors and windows open will result in a $1000 fee
- If any rules are broken, and Guests MUST IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE PROPERTY UPON REQUEST
-If security is sent to the property for a failure of Guest to follow house rules the fee is $500, No refunds are give if rules are broken and guest is removed from the property  the guest can not post retaliatory negative reviews. 

If guest has violated house rules and are asked to leave they agree to not post a negative review as it will be interpreted as a retaliation against the host the guests own failure to perform their duties. If the guest does this they agree that Airbnb may remove this review on their behalf and that they are liable for any and all financial damages to the host of said negative review.
Maintain the keys from the house in the same place they are kept. If you lose a key the charge is $150 per key. 
-We will always try to accommodate an early check in request, but because this is a large and busy listing that will not always be possible.
An early check-in and late check-out will always require a $300.00 additional fee each.
Checkout is at 1000am. To be respectful to our cleaning crew, If your group has not left the property by 1001am, there will be an automatic $300 fine (immediate departure still required). To avoid this, if your group will require more time to depart please set up a late departure in advance. We hope you relax, sleep in a little more and enjoy the late checkout!
-Before access is granted to the property the guest must sign a STR agreement for out internal insurance purposes (this is be sent a few days before check-in).

We were 10 people. The apartment is very large and very cool. Lots of space to hang out. Multiple kitchens. The photos do not do this place justice. It is a spectacular Airbnb. Host was very responsive and flexible with us. Lots of helpful recommendations to make the trip seamless. walking distance to good food and bars. Top tier management!!

I do feel that this place is worth the money! The only thing that may make it a little bit confusing is when you're splitting the cost evenly with all of your guest. Some of my guess had to stay in the lofts which wasn't as fair as the guest that had full rooms. When everyone has paid the same amount of money, at least someone unhappy or feeling like they didn't get their moneys worth. The lofts don't have doors so the person that is staying in the room don't have privacy if you are a couple. Other than that, the rooms were perfect and beautiful.

What an awesome stay in San Juan. Dillon and his team were incredibly helpful, flexible, resourceful, and personable. They were able to work with our groups schedule and even when we got a little rowdy after quiet hours a couple times, they didn’t freak out they just reminded us quickly so we were able to oblige and go inside off the patio at the 10pm curfew. Dillon has awesome recommendations for local entertainment, Josh was a great liaison on the phone and Sam was perfect on site assistance thru all hours of the trip. I would highly recommend this location to any groups loooking to get the true authentic San Juan experience while still looking to have the amenities and conveniences of a hotel without actually having to stay at one. 10 out 10 experience from top to bottom.

We had an excellent stay at the Diamond Vault Penthouse for a girls trip with 16 guests. The location is simply amazing and the Paragon Properties team is very responsive. Dillon and V were very quick to respond to all of our questions and Josh provided excellent on-the-ground support. We all felt safe and comfortable in the space. One tip for future guests: when we entered the street address to the Uber app or Google Maps, both apps mapped to the wrong location. Looking up “Diamond Vault Penthouse” on Google maps helped us find the exact right spot.

A+++++ stay and Airbnb! We had a group of 18 girls and the Airbnb was exactly as described. Incredibly beautiful, spacious, clean, luxurious and in the perfect location which was walkable to everything. The hosts were incredibly responsive, communicative and helpful throughout the entire stay. There was a minor hiccup with finding the Airbnb because the entrance is actually on the adjacent cross street but the hosts answered us immediately and directed us to the correct location. They went above and beyond to make up for it and were incredibly accommodating. Would highly recommend the Diamond Vault to anyone!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Diamond Vault Penthouse during Fiestas de La Calle de San Sebastián, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The property is simply outstanding—luxurious, spacious, and impeccably maintained. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Old San Juan, which allowed us to easily walk to all the festivities, restaurants, and historic sites. The views from the penthouse were stunning, offering a perfect vantage point of the colorful streets and vibrant atmosphere. The host was also incredibly responsive and accommodating. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay, and I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Old San Juan. 5 stars all the way!
